Altman predicted complete disappearance of some professions
During a speech in Washington, OpenAI head Sam Altman made an interesting statement about the future of the job market.
Altman stated immediately. Some professions will completely disappear. According to him, modern support lines already work on large language models. They provide instant responses without transfers between operators and with minimal errors. The efficiency of such systems is so high that the human factor simply becomes redundant.
The same technology is actively being implemented in medicine. AI systems learn on millions of «symptom-diagnosis» pairs. And often determine causes of diseases faster than doctors.
However, the OpenAI head also sees potential threats from such rapid technology development. He warns. Imagine a situation when an unfriendly state combines artificial intelligence with cyberattacks. And in seconds erases bank balances or stops stock exchange operations. That’s how much fear he instilled in people.
